My latest obsession...

I've started a new teaching design and have hardly been able to put it down - I'm almost done! I think it will be my next offering through Shining Needle Society and it's called "Inchies" because the squares are an inch big. I can't wait to pick out some additional colorways and maybe even stitch another - after I get back to Autumn Logs and finishing it! Here's a part of Inchies...
 
I picked up the frame for Mint Julep and it will be in the mail to Needle in a Haystack in a few days after I finish writing the instructions... it's better in person than the photo, of course. Green is one of the most difficult colors to capture correctly in photographs according to a professional photographer we've used and I find it to be true for me.

Just a quick post to show my finished Autumn Logs made into a pillow. More Serenity and something new...

I'm so pleased to show you photos of some of my students' work! They've had such fun stitching Serenity and several have completed it. It's such fun to see the different colorways come to life! First up is Pam B's - it's called "Flowers of Italy". She was clever and added her initials to the piece - can you find them?!   Next is Highland Garden - it was one of the most popular colorways!   And here's Arnhem Heath, the ever popular purple and green!  I'll be teaching this project at Needle in a Haystack in Alameda, CA next month - if you're wanting some Serenity, come join us. New website design

 I'm thrilled to announce and introduce my new website. It's been live for a week or so. You can find it at the old address of www.needledelights.com - it has a completely new look and is easy to navigate. You can subscribe on the website and then will receive regular email newsletters from me. I'll also be blogging from the website as soon as I complete some training so this blog will be closing down. I'm starting to make kits for this year's Mystery - I ordered some extra threads to make a few additional kits so if you missed the signup and are still interested, email me. Class starts February 14th. You can see all the details  here . I'm working on exciting new designs to release at Nashville in March. Here's the beginning of a larger design I'm calling Gypsy. I loved working with the rich jewel tone colors and the design has a Bohemian feel. I can't wait to show you the rest of it when I officially announce my Nashville releases! I'l
