It's August - time for new releases!

I cannot believe it is already August - the summer is flying so fast! I'm staying almost too  busy these days but still trying to squeeze in some stitching & designing. I do have four new designs which will be released next week. Shops may pre-order now or order through the online show from Norden which starts August 8th. If you don't have a LNS, you can get them here.

First up are two of my four Elements - these were exclusive to Tomorrow's Heirlooms but now their Club is complete so I can release them to all.  They finish at 5.25x5.25 and also look great if they are done as a four way design with this being one quarter. The first is Earth.
 and this is Water:
The other two (Fire & Air) will be released in the Spring.

Next is Turquoise Trail - I was inspired by one of the colorways in my Curios Mystery and designed this piece - it was really fun and I'm looking forward to maybe doing another southwest inspired design. This goes into my Destination Series and finishes about 6x10.

I've been watching people post photos of pieces with all overdyed Vineyard Silks and was jealous of them using these luscious threads so I pulled mine out and created another "rainbow" of color. This is Color Delights - Rainbow 2! These are some of my favorite threads to work with and now I'm working on a larger piece with them for next year!

Until next time -
Kathy

Autumn Logs pillow

Just a quick post to show my finished Autumn Logs made into a pillow. The center looks washed out in the photo but I can't take another because I sent the pillow up to Fireside Stitchery - they're having a Needle Delights Originals trunk show right now and have over a dozen of my pieces - check them out if you're in the northeast! http://www.firesidestitchery.com/     Today is the first day of my online class "Inchies" - here's the Confetti colorway - one of my students already finished it and sent a photo!     I'm working on something new and will show you a peek soon! More Serenity and something new...

I'm so pleased to show you photos of some of my students' work! They've had such fun stitching Serenity and several have completed it. It's such fun to see the different colorways come to life! First up is Pam B's - it's called "Flowers of Italy". She was clever and added her initials to the piece - can you find them?!   Next is Highland Garden - it was one of the most popular colorways!   And here's Arnhem Heath, the ever popular purple and green!  I'll be teaching this project at Needle in a Haystack in Alameda, CA next month - if you're wanting some Serenity, come join us. You can see all the info here. Kathy

New website design

I'm thrilled to announce and introduce my new website. It's been live for a week or so. You can find it at the old address of www.needledelights.com - it has a completely new look and is easy to navigate. You can subscribe on the website and then will receive regular email newsletters from me. I'll also be blogging from the website as soon as I complete some training so this blog will be closing down. I'm starting to make kits for this year's Mystery - I ordered some extra threads to make a few additional kits so if you missed the signup and are still interested, email me. Class starts February 14th. You can see all the details  here . I'm working on exciting new designs to release at Nashville in March. Here's the beginning of a larger design I'm calling Gypsy. I loved working with the rich jewel tone colors and the design has a Bohemian feel. I can't wait to show you the rest of it when I officially announce my Nashville releases! I'l
