Goodbye to 2016...

Happy Holidays - 2017 is upon us and I'm happy to have this whole week between Christmas and New Year's to bring in 2017. To thank you for a fabulous 2016, I'm having a Year End Sale. To celebrate the 2017 New Year, all kits in stock are 17% off. Enter the coupon code "2017NDO" in the checkout section of the website's Catalog.

To my shopowner friends: email me if you'd like to place a sale order for charts...

In the months and months since I last blogged, I logged quite a few miles and taught a number of classes from coast to coast. My calendar is full for 2017 and I'll be posting my schedule soon. I'm looking forward to meeting more of you as I travel around the country.

Next year's Mystery design is almost complete and I can't wait to share all the details (except what it looks like of course!) with you. Here's a tiny peek - the official registration announcement will be mid January. I've enjoyed creating this piece and am excited to offer it to you.

I'm looking forward to finished up the Mystery so I can work on something new. I did some personal stitching over the holidays - a Christmas stocking for my new great nephew and a Chicago Cubs ornament for my dad who is a lifelong diehard Cubs fan. He is always able to guess all his presents so it was wonderful to completely surprise him. I offered to hang it on my tree but he insisted on taking it home! It was great fun to have family here for the holiday - they're on the way home today so the cats are catching up on sleeping and I'm catching up with my blog and prepping for inventory - not my favorite job but at least it's only once a year. I hope to have a lot less kits to count after this week!

Happy New Year!
Kathy

More Serenity and something new...

I'm so pleased to show you photos of some of my students' work! They've had such fun stitching Serenity and several have completed it. It's such fun to see the different colorways come to life! First up is Pam B's - it's called "Flowers of Italy". She was clever and added her initials to the piece - can you find them?!   Next is Highland Garden - it was one of the most popular colorways!   And here's Arnhem Heath, the ever popular purple and green!  I'll be teaching this project at Needle in a Haystack in Alameda, CA next month - if you're wanting some Serenity, come join us. You can see all the info here. Kathy

New website design

I'm thrilled to announce and introduce my new website. It's been live for a week or so. You can find it at the old address of www.needledelights.com - it has a completely new look and is easy to navigate. You can subscribe on the website and then will receive regular email newsletters from me. I'll also be blogging from the website as soon as I complete some training so this blog will be closing down. I'm starting to make kits for this year's Mystery - I ordered some extra threads to make a few additional kits so if you missed the signup and are still interested, email me. Class starts February 14th. You can see all the details  here . I'm working on exciting new designs to release at Nashville in March. Here's the beginning of a larger design I'm calling Gypsy. I loved working with the rich jewel tone colors and the design has a Bohemian feel. I can't wait to show you the rest of it when I officially announce my Nashville releases! I'l

Autumn Logs pillow

Just a quick post to show my finished Autumn Logs made into a pillow. The center looks washed out in the photo but I can't take another because I sent the pillow up to Fireside Stitchery - they're having a Needle Delights Originals trunk show right now and have over a dozen of my pieces - check them out if you're in the northeast! http://www.firesidestitchery.com/     Today is the first day of my online class "Inchies" - here's the Confetti colorway - one of my students already finished it and sent a photo!     I'm working on something new and will show you a peek soon!
