New Delights!

In addition to Sudoku Delight & Poppers, I will be releasing two more patterns at the Nashville market. First up is the new Color Delights - it's Eggplant! The photo doesn't show the richness of the color or the texture of the threads. I used Petite Very Velvet as the darkest color and the Watercolour is Aubergine - isn't that appropriate?! I love purple so it is definitely my newest favorite of the Color Delights!

I'm introducing a new series of designs called Holiday Delights - these will be six by six finished size and great for box tops, pillow inserts, stand-up cubes, or whatever other creative things people are sure to come up with. The first is Independence Day. I've been on a roll with this fun combination of patriotic colors - they're just such fun to work with and the ideas just keep coming! I'm excited about this new series and looking forward to working on the next one! Leave me a comment if you want to request a holiday for me!

These designs will all be released March 4th so look for them at your LNS (ask them to pick them up for you!) after market or if you don't have a LNS, pre-order them here.

I'm headed out of town to teach this weekend - I'm really happy to be getting on a plane and not driving! I'll be able to stitch. I'm working on my last Element, which is Wind. It is designed and threads have been chosen so I'm all set. In the meantime, I'm cutting mass numbers of canvases and drawing the outlines for the Curios Mystery Class - if you've missed the info on this class or have been thinking about signing up, you can see all the details and photos of the colorways here. Registration ends February 26th so I can get all the final supply orders in before I leave for Nashville.

Until next time,
Kathy

More Serenity and something new...

I'm so pleased to show you photos of some of my students' work! They've had such fun stitching Serenity and several have completed it. It's such fun to see the different colorways come to life! First up is Pam B's - it's called "Flowers of Italy". She was clever and added her initials to the piece - can you find them?!   Next is Highland Garden - it was one of the most popular colorways!   And here's Arnhem Heath, the ever popular purple and green!  I'll be teaching this project at Needle in a Haystack in Alameda, CA next month - if you're wanting some Serenity, come join us. You can see all the info here. Kathy

New website design

I'm thrilled to announce and introduce my new website. It's been live for a week or so. You can find it at the old address of www.needledelights.com - it has a completely new look and is easy to navigate. You can subscribe on the website and then will receive regular email newsletters from me. I'll also be blogging from the website as soon as I complete some training so this blog will be closing down. I'm starting to make kits for this year's Mystery - I ordered some extra threads to make a few additional kits so if you missed the signup and are still interested, email me. Class starts February 14th. You can see all the details  here . I'm working on exciting new designs to release at Nashville in March. Here's the beginning of a larger design I'm calling Gypsy. I loved working with the rich jewel tone colors and the design has a Bohemian feel. I can't wait to show you the rest of it when I officially announce my Nashville releases! I'l...

Autumn Logs pillow

Just a quick post to show my finished Autumn Logs made into a pillow. The center looks washed out in the photo but I can't take another because I sent the pillow up to Fireside Stitchery - they're having a Needle Delights Originals trunk show right now and have over a dozen of my pieces - check them out if you're in the northeast! http://www.firesidestitchery.com/     Today is the first day of my online class "Inchies" - here's the Confetti colorway - one of my students already finished it and sent a photo!     I'm working on something new and will show you a peek soon!
